Leicester City can confirm their place as Group G winners when they make the long trip to Zorya in the Europa League on Thursday evening.
Jamie Vardy’s injury-time equaliser at Braga last week ensured the Foxes’ name will be in the draw for the knockout stages, and victory in Ukraine here will see them qualify in top spot.
Leicester had little trouble dispatching their Ukrainian opponents in the reverse fixture last month, running out 3-0 winners at the King Power Stadium, and bet365 make them 4/6(1.66) favourites to take the points again.
Zorya have only won four of their last 14 matches in all competitions and are out at 17/4 (5.25) to keep their hopes of reaching the knockout stages alive with victory here.
Last week’s draw in Portugal was the Foxes’ first stalemate of the season and another one can be backed at 14/5(3.80).
Brendan Rodgers may opt to rotate following Monday’s 2-1 loss to Fulham, which could mean starts for Kelechi Iheanacho and Harvey Barnes. Ricardo Pereira is in contention for the first time in eight months but Daniel Amartey, Caglar Soyuncu and Wilfred Ndidi all remain out.
Maksim Kazakov and Dmytro Komchenovskyi are both unavailable for Zorya.
Life could scarcely have been better for Leicester just three weeks ago when they beat Wolves 1-0 to win their sixth match in a row, but two losses and a draw in their last three games have seen them crash back down to Earth.
Although it is a journey of over 1,600 miles, the trip to Zorya could provide the perfect catalyst to get their season back on track, especially considering how easily the Foxes won the reverse fixture.
The Ukrainian side did pick up their first win of the Europa League last week with a comfortable win at AEK Athens, but their record of one victory in their last eight home games does not bode well.
With the added impetus of securing top spot, bet365’s price of 1.825on a Leicester win with a -0.5, -1.0 handicap on the Asian line in this Europa League clash looks like a solid price for punters in Ukraine.
This will be a half-win and the other half will be refundedif the Foxes win by exactly one goal, whilst a winning margin of two goals or greater will see the bet pay out in full.
