A repeat of the World Cup final from 2018 takes place on Wednesday evening as France travel to Zagreb to face Croatia in the Nations League.
Last month’s meeting in Paris between these two teams saw Les Bleus claim an entertaining 4-2 win and another victory for Didier Deschamps’ men can be backed at 21/20 (2.05) .
The hosts, meanwhile, are offered at 13/5 (3.60) while the draw is priced at 23/10 (3.30) .
Croatiawill be without Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic who is suspended for the clash.
Deschamps may be tempted to change things up front with Anthony Martial or Wissam Ben Yedder possibly coming in for Olivier Giroud, who has started the last two games.
Les Bleus’ last game was a 0-0 draw with Portugal and thatmarked the first time the side had failed to find the back of the net in a home clash in the Nations League.
It was also only their third clean sheet in seven games they have played in the tournament, and generally France matches can be relied upon for goals.
Croatia, for their part, have been on an inconsistent run of form since claiming the runner-up spot at the last World Cup, with Zlatko Dalic’s men losing to Hungary and Tunisia whilst alsodrawing with Azerbaijan and Wales.
Thosefixtures in that time have generally been entertaining, though, with Croatia havingboth scored and conceded in 15 of their last 17 games in all competitions and so the temptation must surely be to back a repeat on Wednesday evening.
Both teams to score is priced at 5/6 (1.83) and this looks like a strong selection, one which has paid out in three of the last four meetings between these nations.
